Our team of staff and volunteers are passionate about children and are excited to build connections between kids and God. Our goal is to provide a fun and interactive program tailored just for kids no matter what age and grade to help them know Jesus and grow spiritually as they build meaningful relationships with other children and adults!

The AWANA program takes place on Wednesday evening gform Sep–May. Your child(ren) will learn many Bible truths and how to apply them to their lives. The AWANA acronym comes from 2 Timothy 2:25 Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. Our goal is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel adn train them to serve Christ. Grace Kids offers classes for all children birth–5th grade.

On the 2nd Wednesday of each month, we have extra fun with THEME NIGHT. Join us as we learn God's Word and enjoy some extra fun! Prizes are awarded for participation. For more information about AWANA or what we offer on Wednesday evenings, please email Christie.

Purpose

Purpose

Grace Covenant Children's Ministries unite with parents and guardians to encourage, equip, and assist them to lead their children into passionate relationships with Jesus Christ.

Regardless of each child's age, the intent is to assist parents as they lead their children effectively and creatively. Working together, we believe that we can help to build strong foundations that will enable each child to stand firm on the truth of God's Word. We want to do everything that we can to make the Word of God come alive to the kids while at Grace Covenant, helping them to apply it to their everyday lives. We also want to do everything possible to encourage, equip, and assist parents, as they seek to be the best spiritual leaders that they can be within their homes.

"Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." - Deuteronomy 6:5-7

Safety

Safety

Each child's safety is our top priority!
All of our volunteers have undergone background checks prior to their participation in Children's Ministry. To further protect all children, we require that they are checked in at an easily identified kiosk in one of the lobbies. Each child will be given a name tag with a security number printed on it. Parents will also be given a tag with the matching security number, which must be presented upon pickup. Parents of younger children will receive a pager instead of a security tag, just in case a parent is needed during a worship service.

Jumpstart (Birth - 2yr Olds)

jumpstart

Birth - 2 yr olds

JumpSTART is a place where parents can be confident that their children (up to age 2) are safe, secure and in a nurturing environment, where they will be taught the basics about God's love. These children love consistency and repetition, and want to be able to use all of their senses as they learn.

Kids Construction Zone (3yr olds - Pre-K 5)

kcz

3 yr olds - Pre-K 5

This fun and safe learning environment for 3-year-olds through Pre-Kindergarten is all about "building kids for Christ"! Children are engaged through their senses to explore Biblical truths through meaningful and entertaining lessons. They learn how to apply these truths to their lives, while being drawn into God's Word and closer to Jesus. It happens through small and large group settings, worship, puppets, Bible stories, crafts...and more!

Winner's Circle (Kindergarten - 2nd Grade)

Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

The electrifying time of worship and Bible teaching that we call Winner's Circle is designed to communicate the transforming love and power of Jesus in applicable ways. Children from Kindergarten through 2nd Grade experience small groups and assorted puppets, characters, video clips, illustrated sermons, skits, memory verses and review games. To help them "run the race for Christ," a lot of creative energy goes into helping parents and guardians build strong foundations in their children's hearts. We want Winner's Circle children to experience God in such a way that they will want to come back for more!

The Studio (3rd - 5th Grade)

3rd - 5th Grade

Although our culture changes continually, children in “The Studio” learn that they can trust the never-changing truths found in the Bible and through personal relationship with Jesus Christ. These 3rd - 5th graders grow in their faith and knowledge through drama, music, hands-on learning, games and other creative communications. Because it's a "studio," communication strategies can change frequently, all designed to keep the principles of God's Word relevant in the midst of a fast-paced, ever-changing world. We are committed to provide children with ways to apply what they have learned once they leave "The Studio."

Discovery Island (Kindergarten - 5th Grade)

Kindergarten - 5th Grade
(East Lincoln Campus)

Kindergarten-5th graders at the East Lincoln campus make a splash at our waterpark area of Adventureland known as “Discovery Island!” In a smaller environment, children are engaged in exciting worship and Bible teaching, with opportunities to play games and interact in small groups that will help them apply the weekly lesson to their everyday lives. We want children to dive into God's Word and experience the love of Christ in their lives!
