    There are many ways you can support the construction of the home that Grace Covenant is helping to build through Our Towns Habitat for Humanity. Whether it's helping on a construction team doing work on the exterior or interior, or providing beverages and snacks for volunteers, there is a place for everyone! Volunteers that serve on a construction team must be 16 years or older. Teenagers younger than 16 can serve with a parent or guardian. Click here to view serving opportunities or to sign up to serve.  All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Waiver Form, a requirement by Habitat for Humanity.     Every Thursday night and Friday morning between December and March, we host up to 10 homeless guests. A hot dinner and lodging are provided on Thursday nights and the guests awaken to breakfast and a to-go lunch on Fridays. There are a variety of ministry opportunities. Before signing up to serve, watch the orientation video, even if you have served in previous seasons.  After viewing the video, sign up to serve and/or to provide food items.

      If you sense the Lord calling you to participate in some form of missions activity at Grace Covenant, your next step is to attend a Prepare to Go Training workshop.  Completing the workshop is required for all adults or youth prior to submitting an application to serve on a global or regional outreach team.  Attendance qualifies you to serve on a team for two years. Prepare to Go will help you: · Clearly discern from the Lord if you are to pray, give or go. · Wisely select the team on which you are to serve. · Effectively prepare for your first team meeting. · Successfully raise your team fees. · Prepare you culturally to serve a different people group.

Various ministry opportunities are available for men and women at Grace Covenant to touch the lives of those in prison, jails, and in re-entry programs from writing letters of encouragement to hosting Bible studies in local jails.   • Missions BBQ Benefit

    This year our annual BBQ is moving to Friday night! Support GCC missions teams in 2015 by purchasing Port-a-Pit BBQ plates. Each plate contains 1/2 chicken, baked beans, cole slaw and roll for $9. Homemade desserts can be purchased on the day of the event for $1. A limited number of extra plates will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets will be available for purchase in March 2015.
  • Linefork Missions Trip

    A team from Grace Covenant Church will serve in Linefork, KY at the Sonshine Center, May 14-17.  They will host an annual birthday part for the children who live at the center, clean up the center's property from winter effects and prepare the pool for use. The total trip fee is $250, which includes ground transportation, lodging and meals.  A non-refundable application fee of $50 is due when you submit a trip application.  It will be applied to your total trip fee.  The application deadline is April 12.
  • Atlanta Dream Center Missions Trip

    A team from Grace Covenant will serve in Atlanta, Georgia at the Atlanta Dream Center, August 10-15. They will minister to those living  on the streets and to victims of commercial sexual expoitation. The total trip fee is $600, which includes ground transportation, lodging and meals. A non-refundable application fee of $100 is due when you submit a trip application. It will be applied to your total trip fee. The application deadline is June 3. The maximum number of people on the team is 20.
