- GCC is a part of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (ICFG) denomination.
- GCC is a Pentecostal Church that embraces the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer and in the Church today.
- GCC was founded in August 1937 by Dr. and Mrs. Clanton as an outreach from the Garr Memorial Church in Charlotte.
- Since 1937, we have only had 5 Pastors.
