  • Love Denver
    Aug 15 from 9am – 2pm
    Campus Beside the Denver Walmart
    GCC will serve with other local churches at Love Denver, a back-to-school outreach for families in the Denver community. Event participants are offered health clinics, hair cuts, food, games and more. In the past, we have collected donations for backpacks. This year, we have been asked to serve as guides. Along with other volunteers from the community, we will serve as hands-on helpers who will greet families at registration, lead them through the event, and provide a measure of personalized ministry and hospitality to each guest.   All participants must view a training video at  READY TO VOLUNTEER?     Partnering with Angels & Sparrows, GCC will deliver bag lunches to children living in the Smithville community and the community behind Cornelius Elementary. Volunteers are needed, Tuesday – Friday, beginning June 16 until August 21, to pick up the lunches at Angels & Sparrows and take them to the designated locations for children to pick up.   • Neighborhood C.A.R.E. Center
    Campus Cornelius, NC
    We have a vision for a new center that will be located in the midst of a local neighborhood. The acronym, C.A.R.E., summarizes the focus of the center: Connect people in need to community resources and volunteers to community partners. Advance people with life skills and recovery programs. Reduce pressures on single parents and families in distress. Equip the next generation for success. Contact Pastor Michelle Hoverson for more details.
  • Prison Ministry
    Before and after walking out, those that are incarcerated need constant encouragement to make their "second chance" successful. Various ministry opportunities are available for men and women at Grace Covenant to touch the lives of those in prison, jails, and in re-entry programs from writing letters of encouragement to hosting Bible studies in local jails.       If you sense the Lord calling you to participate in some form of missions activity at Grace Covenant, your next step is to attend a Prepare to Go Training workshop.  Completing the workshop is required for all adults or youth prior to submitting an application to serve on a global or regional outreach team.  Attendance qualifies you to serve on a team for two years. Prepare to Go will help you: · Clearly discern from the Lord if you are to pray, give or go. · Wisely select the team on which you are to serve. · Effectively prepare for your first team meeting. · Successfully raise your team fees. · Prepare you culturally to serve a different people group.  
  • Linefork Spring Missions Trip

    A team of youth and adults from Grace Covenant Church served in Linefork, KY at the Sonshine Center, May 14-17. They hosted an annual birthday part for the children who live at the center, cleaned up the center's property from winter effects, and sorted through tons of clothing and food.   • Atlanta Dream Center Missions Trip

    A team from Grace Covenant will serve in Atlanta, Georgia at the Atlanta Dream Center, August 10-15.   • Linefork Fall Missions Trip

    Campus Linefork, KY
    A team of youth and adults from Grace Covenant Church will serve in Linefork, KY at the Sonshine Center, October 8-11. They will prepare the center's property for winter effects. The total trip fee is $250, which includes ground transportation, lodging and meals. A non-refundable application fee of $50 is due when you submit a trip application. It will be applied to your total trip fee. The application deadline is September 16.
