 Operation Christmas Child

🎁Operation Christmas Child Drop-Off Week is Coming — and We Need YOU!🎁

Every year, over 4,500 churches and organizations open their doors to collect Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes... and this year Grace Covenant Cornelius is one of them! 🙌
From November 17–24, our Gathering Place will become a buzzing drop-off hub for families, neighbors, and community groups bringing in their shoebox gifts—and we get to welcome them with joy, prayer, and hospitality.
But to make this happen, we need an awesome crew of volunteers! 🛠️ Help Us Get Ready!

Before collection week kicks off, we need help with:
  • Setting up the space
  • Folding and prepping shoe boxes
  • Organizing tables and materials
If you love behind-the-scenes teamwork, this is a great way to jump in even before doors open!

🚪 During Collection Week: What You’ll Get to Do
When you sign up for a time slot, you (and your family, friends, or small group!) will:
  • Greet people dropping off boxes
  • Keep a running count of shoeboxes received
  • Offer prayer for guests and over the boxes being sent around the world
  • Share info about Grace Covenant programs, resources, and classes
  • Create a warm, joyful, hope-filled atmosphere!
We’ll handle instructions—you just come ready to serve and smile. This is a fun, meaningful way to bless others right here at home!
🧍‍♀️ Who Can Volunteer?
  • Individuals
  • Families
  • Small groups
  • Friends grabbing coffee and serving together
  • Anyone with a heart to help!
Make it a mini mission moment or use it as a meet-up spot with people you love.

⏰ Time Commitment - Shifts are about 2–3 hours each, and you can sign up for one—or as many as you’d like!

Serve Others

Serving others is what we do. Here are just a few examples of how you can get involved serving at Grace.

Guest Experience

Team members at Guest Experience specialize in hospitality, helping people feel that they belong at Grace. From the moment a person steps onto our campus until the time they leave, Guest Experience helps people feel welcomed. This ministry area offers opportunities to serve before, during, and after all Sunday services.

Grace Kids

Are you passionate about investing in the next generation? Join the Grace Kids & Student team to help provide a fun and interactive environment tailored to teaching all ages about Jesus. If you enjoy rocking infants, connecting with kids, or teaching teens to love and honor God with their lives, we have a place for you.

Grace Worship

Team members serving with the Grace Covenant Worship are devoted to leading God's people into His presence. If you have a talent for singing, playing an instrument, or working behind the scenes to provide a distraction-free service environment, we have a place for you. There are opportunities to serve at every service on each of our campuses.

Discipleship

Grace Groups are the primary means of discipleship at Grace Covenant. If you have experience leading a small group Bible study or want to come alongside an experienced leader to learn how then we would love to connect with you and consider the possibility.

Missions

Team members who serve in this area extend the compassion of Christ in a variety of ways. Compassion/Care ministries serve within the church, locally in our neighborhoods, and globally as we walk out the commission to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." This team focuses on bringing help and hope to others in our congregation and community.

Media & Production

Help create an atmosphere where people can experience the presence of God. Operate cameras, lights, screens, and sound to support the Gospel being presented on stage and on screens. No experience required.
